Bach Flower Remedies

Changing the emotion, changes the behaviour. Animals have feelings just like humans and can therefore suffer from a wide range of emotional problems and this can greatly affect their behaviour.

We recognise stress in ourselves, family and friends but find it hard to imagine our pets can be stressed. Whatever the species, excessive negative stress can seriously impact upon the physical, emotional and psychological well being of the individual.

Stress is unique to each of us, what affects one individual is easily coped with by another. Puppies that are socialised well and given a wide range of experiences grow in to well adjusted adults able to cope in a stressful world. Stress occurs when we cannot cope and things become out of balance. Our pets' ability to cope in times of stress when they too have an emotional imbalance can be helped by Bach Flower Remedies.

Bach Flower Remedies are akin to homeopathy and are used to improve many negative emotions in all species. They can help to resolve lack of confidence, fear often leading to aggression, phobia to noises eg fireworks and gunshot, trouble adjusting to changes, recovery from a traumatic experience, bereavement and many, many more.

Since the remedies were discovered by Dr Edward Bach over seventy years ago they have been used extensively in human and animal medicine worldwide. Rescue Remedy is probably best known and is typically used for emergencies and extremely stressful situations.
