Living and sharing our lives with our pets should be mutually beneficial and enjoyable. Understanding one another and learning how to communicate and have respect is fundamental to a great relationship. Sadly miscommunication and inappropriate treatment results in bad behaviour and the pleasures of ownership quickly deteriorate. All too often we forget animals do have emotions and understanding their emotions is paramount if we are to have a truly rewarding relationship together.

Only the most up to date, kind and effective methods are used to help treat the causes of common behaviour problems with pets. These frustrating, upsetting problems can often be easily managed, resolved and avoided given the right information with a happier outcome for everyone. However, problem behaviour rarely gets better of its own accord, and usually gets worse so it is important to seek help as early as possible. Each case is treated individually and the advice tailored to each family and their situation. A detailed assessment is taken at the initial consultation followed by advice, a written report and ongoing support designed to help you solve or manage any undesirable behaviours. The number of sessions required depends on the severity of the problem and sometimes it is necessary for your pet to have a health check with your vet to eliminate the behaviour being medically related.

Consultations take approximately two hours and are best carried out at the client's home; alternative arrangements can be made if this isn't possible. It is helpful to have as many members of the family present because success is determined by consistency and a true understanding by everyone about how to address and resolve the problem.
